Hi guys,

Does anyone succeeded in using his mk808b for screen mirroring.

I have a samsung galaxy note 10.1 tablet ant it offers a screen mirroring option to send you tablet screen on your TV. I tried to install Wifi Display (Miracast) and some other apps available on the google play store but they are not stable.

Anyone has a good setting for doing this ?

Apps Not Running

My Mk808 has been working perfectly for about a year. I don't believe anything has changed, but it boots up fine and opens the Apps screen, but it won't correctly run an app. Apps seem to partially start, then just crap out and disappear. I can't open any tools to see if there's a runaway process. Any ideas? I've rebooted several times, and let it off overnight (just in case), but still can't run apps.

Hi,

My mk808 doesn't start, stopped in the middle of the flash(my little daughter was playing and inadvertently disconnected the cable)

I try to flash it with RKbatch tool, It appear like connected but in blue not in green(connected devices 4-7), restore doesn't work, "prepare idb fail"

I try open MK808 and test this operation:

"Look between the heatsink and the board and you can see all the pins of the NAND chip. Again pin 1 is at the top. Count down to pins 8 & 9.

I know this is old stuff to you guys,but I'm just getting into it and could use some direction.I've been trying to flash this unit(original not a clone) off and on for about a week now.
So here's a bit of a run down on what I've done after hours and hours of reading and watching vids.
I got the Rockchip drivers downloaded and windows says they're operating correctly.I can get the unit into flash mode no problem,in fact I think it's stuck in flash mode right now actually.

I have tried a lot of firmwares but no one worked correctly. If anybody can help me i want to know whats correct firmware for this and a link to download it.
I know that this box have bluetooth, wireless, RK3066, RTL8723 but all the firmware that i tried i didn't have no luck. Sorry for my english.

So I got this android stick from dx.com, and after reading some comments on DX it seemed like everyone was recieving original sticks, so I went ahead and flashed finless 2.2 , which pretty much bricked my device. I decided to open it, and found out it had a RLT8723BS bluetooth and wifi chip, so this was a clone. Couldn't really find much information on this clone (found other versions with the BT/wifi chipset but not 808b )
I tried MANY FW's in desperation, and found one that finally booted;...

Hello all,

I've been owning an original MK808b ("plain", NOT "plus") for quite some time and have been very happy with it to play some movies out of a microSD. I used to format the microSDXC in ntfs format since exfat is not supported by the official rom.
Now, I have a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet, which only seem to support exfat, but not ntfs.

Since I'd like to use my microSD card on both devices, I was wondering whether it's possible to have a rom that supports exfat on the MK808b (I prefer...

Hello everyone.
A few days ago my MK808b stopped working.
At one point I was on the screen and an ad appeared saying "updating the android system", or something similar. After a while, the system was restarted. But it never starts again. It got struck at the beginning and after 15 minutes of waiting, I decided to disconnect it and reconnect it again. The problem was that it never started again.
Nowadays when you start it, the Linux penguin's are shown for a few seconds and then the screen gets...

I need a dongle that will

a) connect to a webcam

and

b) miracast its display to a miracast reciever

The MK808B has 4.4 and an otg port; would someone with one and a miracast dongle test it to see if it has miracast enabled?

Help- Boots to Recovery System After Flash

I have flashed this device awhile back with no problems. However today when I flash it. It says it completed the flash with no problems but when I boot the device it goes straight to Recovery system. I have tried many roms including the orginal and still have the same issue. This is a real mk808b not a clone I have checked and as I said before I have flashed this device before with no issue.

Why won't my generic USB gamepad work on my MK808B Plus?

I recently bought a MK808B Plus HDMI-stick. My version is the EC-MK808B with Realtek WIFI and Bluetooth. I have installed a custom 4.4.2 ROM (http://www.mediafire.com/download/jr1v2whtyamqicb/EC-MK808B_PLUS_SupeCeleron_1.4_ROM_RTL8723-EN.zip) but I can't for the life of me get a generic USB gamepad to work.

USB host is working, I can e.g connect keyboard, mouse and USB-storage stick.

The keylayout (Vendor_0079_Product_0011.kl) file for the specific controller I got from another...

Why won't my generic USB gamepad work on my MK808B Plus?

Hi to all MK808B Users outside.

Now that we know, that there are several Versions of MK808B, I would like you to post a Picture of your WiFi chipset and your Build and Kernel Version! Also where you bought your MK808B.

There are now more than just One Clone, and it might be difficult to find the right Model and also to flash the right ROM. I'll upgrade the post pinned with Different Versions, if I get more Support from you.

MK808B not recognized by windows 7

No matter how I reset my MK808B, I still cannot get it detects by Windows 7, 32bits.
1. Install all type of Rockchip RK3066 USB driver.
2. Press reset button and plugged into OTG USB port.
3. Windows cannot detect/prompt unknown device, when perform step 2.
4. Rockchip batch tool does not show pink/green.

My MK808B details:
