MK808B Win8 Driver Problems + Finless rim problems

I tried uninstalling the win8 64 bit driver because my mk808b wont pop up on my desktop
* i tried all my usb ports
* tried another win 8 laptop
* tried different flash tools it wont recognize.
I can record a clip and show if that helps any ideas

it lags when in some xbmc movies.
But sometimes it doesnt i believe its the stock firmware

Hello, I am new here and I am looking for some help. I don't usually post much on forums, as I can normally find what I am looking for by means of searching. But I'm in a bit of a bind, so hopefully someone can help me out.

I purchased a "clone" mk808B off of ebay (actually five of them). For the most part, they work great. They run 4.2.2. Netflix and XBMC work almost flawlessly. The stock rom has support for 1080p. My problem is, Any streamed videos on chrome, as well as the youtube app,...

Flash always successful but tv still blank

I received this product already defective.stuck on the linux penguin screen. i flashed many roms using
rkbatchtool and finless.

flash always successful (using restore) and i erase nand before flashing. now even the linux screen doesn't show anymore.

photo of this model attached. anything else i could try?

Hi all,

I recently got an MK808B on Amazon.co.uk :) Great device. XBMC up and running too.

I had to get a 2.0A power supply to drive it. The one supplied was only 1.0A. The supplier did refund a small amount to adjust for the underpowered unit :)

It's got Android 4.2.2 and has ROOT access.

I cannot relate it to any of the units I've seen on this site. Is it a clone/improved or unknown later edition ? :).

i have this device and by mistake i install recovery mod by update.zip way and after that my device keep open recovery mod only

Hello Guys!
I purchased a MK808BII sometime back from ibood.nl.
One day when I booted the device, the screen came and after 5 seconds the it went blank. The message on television says "no signal". I tried looking at different threads on this forum but couldn't find a solution.

My case is little different, in my case the devices boots properly, I can see the 'android' message on the screen which stays for 5-8 sec, then the home screen comes up and after 5 secs it goes blank.

I am starting to regret buying this MK808B for all the time and patience that is being lost trying to fix this WIFI problem. I am having 1 bar of connection with 1mbps transfer. My laptop or any other device IE: Iphone all have 5/5 bars. I have opened the MK808B and tried bridging both pins ( A and B as shown in the photo) with my thumb as the guy on the youtube video

Low Wifi Signal

Hi guys i am From Costa rica i purchased from ebay 10 units mk808b, 6 of this are a diferent version i think this are the originals, and 3 of this have a very low signal 1 bar of wifi and does not connect. can someone please help me with this? and the other 4 came working fine but i think they are clones and i need to know if they are originals or clone?

RK Remote does not work!

Hi,

i try to connect my Tablet via RK Remote APP with the MK 808B stick. Both are in the same Network, both with good WIFI connection.

But there is no device shown in RK Remote. Whats wrong? Must be anything configured on the 808B before it works?

[​IMG][​IMG] I have flashed this using original mk808b firmware. I tells me that flash is successful but when I put it into TV it's not recognised even though blue light is on. If I flash it with finless 1.7 I just get two penguins

Good morning
Yesterday i installed the minix x5 rom on my mk808b tv stick.....everything went well, until i tried the wifi and bluetooth.....neither of them worked.
Try to connect them, but each time i pressed the "on" button...he immediatly goes to the "off" position.
Can somebody help me??

Network folders not working

Hi,

For some reason my network folders (windows 7) are not displaying properly on my mk808b.

I just flashed the latest 4.2.2.

I have a modern/router, then Ethernet over power to another router (ddwrt) as a repeater.

The mk808 only shows files of computers connected to the same router. All other devices/pc's show folders correctly so I don't think it's my network.

Any ideas?

MK808B audio echo on new TV?

I just got a new TV for the spare room and theres an echo when I play my MK808B through it.It sounds fine on the other 2 TV's I have, just not on the new one. A friend suggested getting new wires and new HDMI cable but the Xbox and laptop play fine via HDMI on new TV but MK808B has the echo so I'm figuring problem is with it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the echo please?

Hi All,

I have recently bought a 4g dongle (airtel) and I want to connect to my MK808B device and use it as a hotspot. But the MK808B device is not detecting my 4g dongle. Can any one of you help me in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.

MK808B flash problem

Hi, I recently bought a MK808B from geekbuying.com and I've tried to flash it with 2.1 Finless ROM, there were no errors during flash but my MK808B was stuck on a screen with two penguins on the left. Then I've tried to flash it with multiple other firmware but some of them gave me "No signal" on my television and the others make my device freeze anytime I click on the interface.

I also can't find if my MK808B is an original or a clone so here is some pictures of it :...

When I try to use Sixaxis or Tincore, or other related programs like that, to configure my controller to my touch screen, they simply don't work. Yes, my device is rooted. But, when I set it up, when I press a button on the controller, it shows a little finger tap that part of the screen. Yet, nothing happens. It doesn't actually tap that part of the screen.

I've tried several different apps and they all do the same thing. They show a little finger tapping the screen, but no taps actually...

Apps like Sixaxis and Tincore don't work.
